New beer! Another great Ruby?
Exceptional Rubys are rare and exquisite. Of course, there is Ruby Wax and Ruby Dee. They are undoubtedly a couple of fabulous Rubys. But now another gem has been discovered. Ruby Groat is the latest addition to the John o’Groats Brewery bottled range. The cask version of the beer (named Sol-Bjorg) proved such a popular drink in the bar we just had to transfer it to the bottle.
Flavour mix
There is a great richness to this beer. The flavours are well balanced with a barley mix that includes dark crystal and brown malted barley to give the body to the beer. This base is accompanied with a thoughtful mix of Sovereign, Bramling Cross and Fuggle hops. This hop blend creates the perfect balance of bitterness, taste and aroma to balance atop the malt foundations. We are sure you will enjoy it.

The beer has proven very popular since its launch, but we are hopeful of keeping it in stock at the Last House in John o’Groats. You may also find it at our local stockists if you’re in the area.
